I’m on a mission to explore ways to construct a better world by merging co-creation, planet-centric thinking, and creativity. And with academic roots spanning Brazil, Spain, Canada, Portugal, and now Sweden, I bring a multicultural perspective to the table.
As a Service Design aspirant, I yearn to be a catalyst for innovation, where creativity and technology converge to serve society’s needs through designing ‘with’ people, not ‘for’ people.
My essence is a vibrant concoction of a heart in the logic of technology as well as a mindset in the playfulness of art. I see myself as both ‘the fly on the wall’ and ‘the fly in the soup,’ bringing keen observation and investigative skills to uncover the subtleties of human experiences whilst infusing projects with creativity, artistic flair, and an adaptable, hybrid mindset.
My ultimate mission is to harness design as a force for positive change, building a sustainable, inclusive, and life-centric future. I see design as a bridge that transcends mere borders, weaving meaningful human and interspecies experiences.
A global citizen, born and raised in Brazil, with a multicultural background across three continents.
From technological to social aspects, I believe in the power of design as a force for positive change.
As a designer, I love stepping out of my comfort zone to explore new contexts, learn from different cultures and listen to diverse perspectives. My goal is to deliver meaningful value to businesses, humans and the planet alike.
Well... I'm a street photographer, an amateur basketball player, and an ENFJ-T. At home, I am also a tentative cook trying to experiment with new cuisines and a gamer on the searching for the next story-driven masterpiece.
Professionally, I am a Service Designer passionate about building a better future. By merging co-creation, planet-centric thinking, and creativity I aim to shape a sustainable and inclusive future that transcends borders. I believe design can drive positive change by bring together creativity and technology to meet society's needs through designing 'with' and 'by' people, not 'for' people.
My essence is a combination of a heart in the logic of technology as well as a mindset in the playfulness of art. I see myself as both 'the fly on the wall' and 'the fly in the soup,' an observer and a participant, bringing keen insights to uncover life's subtleties. I infuse my projects with creativity, artistic flair, and an adaptable mindset.
Growing up, I was passionate about photography, music, and film; at the same time, I was always intrigued by the math behind it all.
Back in Brazil, I began trying to explore that scientific curiosity by studying Electrical Engineering, trying to combine my creativity and logical thinking, but I longed for more creative freedom.
So, I packed my bags and moved to Portugal to explore the world of communication design. Through education, work, volunteering, and extra courses, I embraced creativity with a touch of structure. Gradually, I fell in love with the social and sustainable aspects of design.
This journey led me to pursue my MSc Design studies in Linköping, Sweden. Through exploring the complexity of the role of design in society, I focused on the intersection of design fictions, stigma, and hearing loss in my thesis. This deepened my understanding of how design can challenge societal perceptions.
After completing my master's, I joined Humblebee's HIVE program in Gothenburg as a trainee Service Designer. Through a collaboration with the non-profit Stadskupan, our team is developing a platform to raise awareness to biodiversity efforts while making it fun and engaging. My traineeship runs until January 2025, and I'm open to new opportunities where I can apply my skills in sustainable, user-centered solutions.
